July 5, 2022 (Greenwich, CT) - The Greenwich Association of REALTORS® announces the statistics for home sales in The Town of Greenwich, CT for the month of June 2022.
There were 69 single-family residential closings reported during this period according to figures provided by The Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, Inc., the multiple listing service used by REALTORS® in the Greenwich area.
The number of single-family residential closings decreased compared to June 2021 when there were 137 closings. The median sale price for a single-family home increased to $2,518,000 from the median sales price in June 2021, which was $2,340,000.
The average days on the market (DOM) for residential homes was 62 days; which was a decrease from 115 days in June 2021.
There were 24 condo/co-op residential closings reported during this time period; which was a decrease from June 2021 when there were 30 closings.
The median sale price for a condo/co-op increased to $877,500 from the median sales price in June 2021, which was $780,000.
The average days on the market (DOM) for condo/co-op residential homes was 84; which was a decrease from 86 days in June 2021.
"June 2022 had sixty-nine closings with a median sales price of $2,518,000; a seven percent increase from the median sale price in June 2021, which was $2,340,000. Greenwich was the sector in town with the most closings, ending June with forty-one sales and a median sales price of $2,726,000.. Condo/Co-Op sales had twenty-four closings in June 2022 with a median sales price of $877,500; a twelve percent increase from the median sales price in June 2021, which was $780,000. The Dollar Volume for Single Family homes, June 2022 is $225,961,402.
